It is the mission of the Perry County Sheriff’s Office to protect and serve the citizens and visitors of Perry County with fairness, compassion, and respect. We are committed to maintaining a law enforcement presence in our community, providing security to the courts, assisting other county agencies in times of need/risk, protecting county-owned/leased buildings and property, executing orders of court, and issuing various licenses. Responsibilities

• Conducting Real Estate and Personal Property Sales
• Issuing Licenses to Carry Concealed Firearms, Licenses to Sell Firearms and Licenses to Sell Precious Metals
• Serve and enforcement of court orders, writs of summons, complaints, money judgements and injunctions
• Service of warrants issued by the courts
• Providing security to county properties and to the courts
• Providing a law enforcement present to county offices in times of need/risk
• Provide safe and secure transportation of prisoners for court appearances
• Enforce violations of the PA Crimes and Vehicle Code
• Provide law enforcement assistance and support to other law enforcement agencies
• Provide education, assistance and awareness to the public through community service programs
• Provide Finger printing services (for a $10.00 fee)
